Please join us along with our community partners, The Miami Dade Bar and Weiss and Serota, Helfman, Cole & Bierman, as we review the impact of African-Americans in Historic Overtown and the legal profession in Miami. Attorney Chanae Wood, Esq., will lead this program which will take place live at the Historic Ward Rooming House, located in the heart of Overtown. This discussion will be guided by renowned Miami historian Dr. Marvin Dunn (Dunn History) and noted art historian Chris Norwood (Hampton Art Lovers).
