This writing workshop is targeted for law students and young, practicing attorneys who want to strengthen and refine their legal writing skills. Lawyers spend a considerable amount of their time writing; thus, it is necessary for them to understand the differences between predictive writing (e.g., legal memoranda), legal correspondence (e.g., demand letters), and persuasive writing (e.g., motions and briefs).
Dwayne Robinson, a partner at Kozyak, Tropin, and Throckmorton, will lead this workshop and will introduce law students and lawyers to the differences in style and approach between the different types of legal writing. Whether you are a 1L who wants to master IRAC ahead of your summer internship, or a first-year associate who wants to master the art of brief writing, you do not want to miss this interactive workshop!
