The Eleventh Judicial Circuit and the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association present the 2026 Black History Month Program, A Century of Black History Commemorations.
This special program honors the lasting legacy and contributions of Nancy Dawkins, Thelma Gibson, and George Knox, whose work helped shape the legal community and advance justice in Miami-Dade County. The event reflects on a century of Black history commemorations while recognizing leaders whose impact continues to resonate today.
The program will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at the Osvaldo N. Soto Courthouse, located at 20 NW 1st Avenue, Room 13C, Miami, Florida 33128. A reception will follow the program.
